I went and bought a Pro Tank II today! So far, I really love it. I'm still getting used to filling it upside down. Now, the question I have is do you let these tanks get really low before you refill them? And do you clean yours every time you switch flavors or what? The guy at the shop is kind of hard to understand sometimes...

You should definitely clean it every time you change flavor. You get better flavor and you keep your tank clean.

Unfortunately I can't anwser your other questions as I have never owned a bottom-feeding tank. :(

I never let mine get to much farther than half empty because, I've read that air pressure builds up and can force the juice past the o-ring in the coil head which can cause gurgling.

Those protanks are really nice though, and you can't beat the ease of those replace-able coil heads.

Yeah! I got my tank for about $20. For some reason, I assumed they were a lot more expensive than that. Had I known they were that cheap, I would have bought one a long time ago! The only issue I really had was my own fault. I ruined the first coil I put in it because I twisted the tank off and spilled juice everywhere. Lesson learned, lol. My mom has one and she told me that if she lets her tank become fully empty, it starts to taste like it's burning. I figure I'll keep it half full at least to avoid that. Hopefully, I have a lot more success with this type of tank than what I've had with the disposable tanks. I also like that these screw into the battery from the inside, not the outside. It feels a lot more stable.

Ah yea when there isn't enough juice for the wicks to load onto the coil you end up with that awesome burnt silica taste lol. You should taste burning cotton wicks, its probably the worst thing I have ever tasted but boy does cotton give good flavor and vapor.

Check this out, this is what I was doing with my protank coils to save money, then I realized duh! why not just move to real rebuild-able atomizers lol.

You should clean them very often, not only when you change flavors. You need to clean them on a daily basis in order to stay healthy.

I have a Kanger Aerotank which is more a less a ProTank 3.
That I only clean if changing flavours, or if I've used a dark, thick liquid.
For the most part I don't feel like it needs much cleaning, since you change the coul every week or so, anyways :)

I never clean my tanks. All the juice I use just gets mixed in there and the flavor is awesome anyhow. And after a while the current juice I vape gets the upper hand flavor-wise.

I don't think it is recommended. You know, juice 'expires' eventually. I don't think you want old juice to be stuck in there.

Okay that video was pretty much insane. It was cool though because I didn't know that's what the innards of the tanks ect. actually looked like. I'm going to show my husband that video and I can guarantee you he's going to attempt to do something like that, lol. Thanks for showing the video. That was pretty cool!

Ha np :) Yea that was what pretty much sealed the deal for me when trying to decide to get into rebuildables.

Just remember to have a good hygiene when it comes to this. It's very unhealthy to smoke from a dusty tank.
