Recently, my vaper has started to burn my lips a little bit and I fear the worse. I don't want to have some serious burns. What could be the issue?

Hmm doesn't sound good, is it an actual burn (as in your drip tip or top of the tank is getting really hot) or is it more like a slight shock?

Oh and also can you post a pic of your device or tell me the name of your tank and the name of the batter/mod you are using? And if you are using a mod what type and mah batter are you using.

If you are using a vape pen that you cant take the battery out of then no need to include the mah amount.

It's a slight shock, actually. I've talked to a friend and he's told me to get it to a repair shop. I'll do that today.

Yeah better do that. Better safe that sorry.
I haven't had problems like that. Sometimes a drop of hot juice get shot into my mouth, but nothing more than that

My iClear 30b tanks use replaceable coil heads and sometimes I would get this with the coil heads. I was usually able to fix it by loosening the coil head and re-seating it. I think it's mainly something with the tank/coil/clearomizer, whatever it is that you have sitting on your battery but you have the right idea, I'd run it back to the shop.

Sometimes I get small amounts of hot juice on my tounge, which is usually a sign that I probably should clean my tank.

It wasn't about getting hot juice on my lips. I have taken it to a service and they've fixed it for free. It was a problem with the coil, actually.

Ah ok I had a feeling that was it. When my 30B tank did that after I replaced the coil I was a bit freaked out. It seemed like the lights in my room was dimming quickly but then I realized every time I hit the button on my ecig it was actually affecting my sight

I re-seated the coil head and it went away but that was some weird stuff.

With my rebuildables I feel like I have more control over things but I still pull out my replaceable coil tanks on occasion.

How can it affect your sight?! It doesn't make any sense to me at all. Maybe you were becoming a little light headed because it was too strong?

It was the electrical shock messing with my vision. My son said he experience the same issue with his 30B tank and reseating the coil break whatever connect the coil was making to the tank that allowed the electricity from the battery to travel up to the tip and onto the lips.

I am currently looking for a tank replacement for him because it kinda freaked him out.

Wow, this is a bit freaky, though. How could you be electroluted like this? It makes me want to take it to a service shop monthly.

with my tank that uses replaceable coils, the coil itself had a problem where the part that touches the top of the battery was bent slightly and it was touching the outer wall of the coil unit. This contact Is what I assume allowed the electricity from the battery to travel up through the metal parts of the tank into the metal drip tip and into my lip.

Another reason this might happen is if there is damage any rubber insulators in the coil which are there to prevent issues like this.

Most people that have had this problem with the tank I was using just re-seated the coil unit and it fixes it right up.

I may have missed it but what is the tank you are using?

Thank you for sharing this. I didn't know there was a subreddit for these issues. Also, I'm glad to hear that there's a fellow redditor on this forum! :D
