Does the smoke annoy the others?

I have never had anyone complain about my vapor but I tend to not use it conspicuously in areas where I wouldn't ordinarily smoke a real cig.

I think a lot of ppl are more against what they think might be harmful in the vapor, it has a lot to do with people fearing what they don't understand I think.

 

I don't think that people mind the smoke once they get over the initial assumption that it will be like the other forms of smoking. I personally enjoy the smell of cigars but know that most people hate them. Once of the things that attracts me about vaping is that it has a pleasant smell and can be done anywhere.

 

I haven't had anyone say that I've annoyed them with vapor. However, I do try to avoid using mine in places that I wouldn't smoke a cigarette. I don't really use mine in public because I don't want anyone messing with me about it. I have used it in the movie theater but only when there weren't other people around.

 

I've noticed when people are using these around me they do have a smell, but it doesn't bother me. Although I was in a an area where someone was vaping, and the people sitting around them got up and left and didn't like the smell at all. I think everyones sense of smell is different. I know I've lost a lot of my smelling sense since I've started smoking and I am looking forward to gaining some of it back.

 

in my experience it does. sometimes people will just get off their seats and leave and it's obvious that it's because of the smoke. i would imagine though that smoke from regular cigs would be much worse.

 

I`ve never heard of someone getting annoyed by vapes. Even people who hate smokers tolerates vapes and vapers much better. The fact that vapes usually dissolve in a few minutes, as opposed to smoke, which hangs around a room for hours, also helps a lot I think.

 

I think a room full of vapes is still better then a room full of cig smoke. While I was still smoking, I went to parties and after 5 hours of hanging around in those places, everything I had on me smelled of smoke and it required cleaning to get all of it out. None of those problems with vapes though.

 

I've never encountered people that has been annoyed by me vaping. They usually ask what it is and then most people are okay with it when they realise it's just vapor. I do avoid blowing vapor in peoples faces though, as it would be rude to do so.

 

No at my workplace it doesn't bother anyone. Some really like the smell and are always sniffing it when I'm using it at work. I don't see anything that can bother them about it.

 

I used my vape in public at bars and coffee shops on buses just about every possible place you can't or shouldn't smoke. The reactions broke down into a few different categories and were pretty consistent. The most common reaction was interest or curiosity and this happened anywhere and everywhere I used my e-smoke. The next and second most common reaction was from the uneducated bartender or bus driver and is easily avoided. This reaction is the "no-smoking allowed" knee jerk and if you take proper precautions this will not happen. The last type of reaction was anger either from a smoker who was jealous or a parent who believed I was harming their child.

Basically if you use your vape in public you will get a mix bag of reactions, just try to be courteous and you shouldn't have any problems. If you find yourself in a city that has banned public use of the vape then just use it privately or with regular smokers. Also, fruity tasting vape juices go a long way to helping people enjoy the use of these in public I've noticed.

 

Vaper smoke is not as persistent as cigarette smoke, and it usually smells like the liquid flavor, so it's not very bad. I've never heard anyone complain about vaper smoke, as it's almost absent.

It's only disturbing if it gets into their eyes, but they have to smoke in order to get vaper smoke in their eyes, so this won't be a problem.

 

I haven't annoyed anyone so far. I also smoke a lot at my workplace but most of my colleagues are smokers as well.

Once an old lady asked me to stop because she had breath issues. She asked in a kind way so she wasn't annoyed thus I felt a bit bad and apologized immediatly.
